The annual "Wicked Dolphin Decades Party: 1950s Shelter House Rock" fundraiser for the Cape Coral Animal Shelter will be held Saturday, March 11, from 7-11 p.m., at the Wicked Dolphin Distillery, at 131 S.W. 3rd St., in Cape Coral.

This 1950s themed event will be a night of costumes, cocktails, food, music, dancing, contests, live and silent auctions. Attendees are encouraged to wear attire fitting to the era or a personality from the decade to join in the fun.

Tickets are $75 per person and include an evening of hors d'oeuvres and desserts from area restaurants, music and entertainment, a cash bar, contest to win prizes, dancing, auctions and more!

John Michaels Diamond & Jewelry will sponsor the annual champagne diamond drop where someone will be the recipient of a 1-carrot diamond at the end of the evening. Other sponsors include Texas Roadhouse, Stephen Todd Interiors, Gavin's Ace Hardware, High Impact Designz, 7daybox.com, Animal ER of SW Florida, LAI Construction Management, Myers Brettholtz & Co., Raso Realty, Red Salon & Spa, Myers Brettholtz & Company, PA, CapeStyle Magazine, Gator Press, FOS Furniture, Morgan Stanley, Beach Dog, Capecoral.com, Cape Coral Lifestyle, Key West Express and The Westin.

Culinary delights will be offered by Ceno Grill, Big Blue Brewing, Bubba's Roadhouse & Saloon, Fathoms, Cork Soakers, Lobster Lady, Nevermind and Noela Chocolate & Confections.

This is the third year that Wicked Dolphin has presented the event. The first year celebrated the 1920s with a theme of prohibition. The following year's theme was the 1940s war effort and "Hollywood Glamour."

"Each year we have more to offer and enjoy by all, but the end results is to raise funds for the Cape Coral Animal Shelter in order to save more lives and give the city a service that is desperately needed," said Cape Coral Animal Shelter president and Wicked Dolphin Distillery owner JoAnn Elardo.

Tickets can be purchased at Raso Realty, Stephen Todd Interiors, Wicked Dolphin Distillery, Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group, Big Blue Brewing, John Michaels Diamond and Jewelry or at www.capecoralanimalshelter.com.

The organization is dedicated to engaging a special bond between people and animals by means of adoption services, medical care, education and training for the prevention of cruelty and abandonment. The shelter will provide a safe place where animals will receive the care they need and remain until they are placed in a qualified, forever home. More information on the Shelter can be found at www.capecoralanimalshelter.com.
