Teriyaki Madness, a Denver, Colorado-based, fresh Asian grill, will open soon in the Cape Coral area. Local entrepreneur Frank Giuliano is opening the new Teriyaki Madness restaurant this Sunday, May 21, at 2209 Santa Barbara Blvd., Suite 101.

In a release announcing the opening, Giuliano said he is excited about opening the new family business. His daughter Nicole will be involved in the restaurant's hiring and marketing efforts, his son Anthony will ensure the restaurant is properly maintained, and close family friend Doug Schmidt will manage the location on a day-to-day basis.

Teriyaki Madness will first open its doors Sunday for a soft opening and then celebrates its grand opening Monday, May 22. As an added treat, the first five people to order will receive free teriyaki bowls for an entire year, with the next 20 people to order receiving free bowls for a month.

Chicken teriyaki bowls will be available for only $5 all day on May 21-23.

On May 24, Teriyaki Madness will partner with Guardian Angels for Special Populations, an organization whose mission is to provide the Special Populations Center in Cape Coral with volunteers needed for its programs and events. For each bowl purchased on May 24, $1 will be donated to the organization.

Giuliano, a former deputy chief from the Bonita Springs Fire District, and his family is passionate about the organization and looks forward to giving back to the community.

"My family and I are thrilled to open Teriyaki Madness for the people of Cape Coral," Giuliano said. "The food is a welcome change to franchised pizza, burgers and sub sandwiches. In addition, we plan on giving back to the community as much as possible.

"Guardian Angels for Special Populations is a wonderful organization and they support people who are very important to us," he continued. "My niece has Down syndrome and her brother, who also had the same genetic disorder, passed away a few years ago. Our partnership with Guardian Angels for Special Populations will begin with the grand opening and continue for years to come."

Teriyaki Madness brings an authentic Seattle teriyaki house experience to the market as one of the fastest growing Asian restaurant concept in the nation. Teriyaki Madness is noted for its big bowls of rice or noodles topped with fresh-cut vegetables; all natural, fresh chicken, beef or tofu; and flavorful sauces made in-house daily.

"We are thrilled to help Frank and his family open their business in Cape Coral and highly support their efforts and relationships with their local community. All of our owners are a special part of the Teriyaki Madness family," said Michael Haith, chief executive officer of Teriyaki Madness. "Our top priority is supporting each of our owners to achieve success in their own restaurant. Teriyaki Madness makes it easy for customers to enjoy delicious, satisfying meals they feel good about eating. In addition, we feel that the Cape Coral market is perfect for Teriyaki Madness. We are looking to expand and feel that the great people in the Cape Coral area will continue to love our food."
