Cape Friends of Wildlife to discuss the area’s threatened estuaries
February 9, 2018

The Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife will present an interesting and important program about the local, threatened estuaries Tuesday, Feb. 13.

The city is surrounded by these coastal bodies of brackish water with rivers and streams flowing into it, with a free connection to the open sea.

The Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program's film about estuaries will be featured. Afterwards, there will be an open discussion regarding ways that you can become involved with our efforts to protect our native wildlife. Ideas for land preservation and conservation will be welcomed.

The meeting will be held at the Rotary Park Environmental Center, 5505 Rose Garden Road, Cape Coral, starting 7:30 p.m.
