Bishop Verot students to perform ‘The Drowsy Chaperone’

Bishop Verot Catholic High School's has an-nounced the premier of its fall theater production, "The Drowsy Chaperone," in the Anderson Theater Nov. 15 18.

"The Drowsy Chaper-one" is musical comedy under the direction of Lisa Stevens. A Verot graduate herself (class of 2007), Stevens is no stranger to the Anderson Theater stage. She is entering her 5th year directing theater productions at Bishop Verot as well as serving as choir director.

"You won't want to miss this hilarious and creative piece of theater. 'The Drow-sy Chaperone' is a musical within a comedy, where a man in a chair takes you through his favorite musical soundtrack. With over 30 students in the show, you have the opportunity to see two different casts perform the show," Stevens said.

Tickets may be purchased at the Box Office thirty minutes prior to show time or may be in the school office during school hours. Performances are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
