Change for the worse

As a resident of Cape Coral, I remain against changing the land development code to allow up to 510 multi-family affordable housing units to be build on the Four Corners site (Agualinda Boulevard & Beach

Council should have left the land use as-is.

These changes can eventually becomes subsidized housing areas. These types of homes can decrease property values, raising property taxes for families who own single-family homes. It also increases traffic and crime.

I also think this type of housing will change the character of the Cape from a community-minded, family-friendly environment to a hustle-and-bustle big city.
